Robotics Term Programmes
Robotics - Foundation Class
This class is for those just beginning to learn about robotics or with limited knowledge. Robotics promotes teamwork, creative thinking, perseverance and programming skills. Students will work with a teammate just as engineers work with others to problem solve and create. Using VEX IQ kits, new students will build from instructions initially then become more creative as their skill level rises. Programming will be incorporated. Please note – If your child has done 3 or more terms in the Foundation class, please talk to Jason about whether they are ready to step up to the Thursday ‘Experienced’ afterschool class.

Robotics - Homeschool
Robotics incorporates a range of skills and thus promotes a learning environment for people with different talents. It promotes teamwork, creative thinking, design & programming skills and perseverance.
Students will work with a teammate, learning to share their achievements & work together to problem solve. Those who have attended previously will continue to extend their knowledge as they problem solve to create a solution to Term 4’s challenge.

Robotics - Experienced Class
Robotics promotes teamwork, creative thinking, perseverance and programming skills. Students will work with a teammate just as engineers work with others to problem solve and create.
Using VEX IQ kits, new students will build from instructions while those who have been with us previously will be encouraged to be more creative in their build, as they endeavour to create a solution to this term’s challenge.
Programming will be incorporated.
If your child is just beginning robotics or has only done a little, please choose Tuesday’s ‘Robotics -Foundation” class.
