Our Programmes

STEAM-ED After School Science classes are split into two age groups.

• Juniors (aged 5-8yrs) is on Monday afternoon. Starting at 3:30pm, this session runs for 1.5hours, finishing at 5pm.
• Seniors (aged 9-13yrs) is on Wednesday afternoon. Starting at 3:30pm, this session runs for 2 hours finishing at 5:30pm.

A different topic is studied each term and runs for 8 weeks, usually starting the second week of each school term. A light afternoon snack is provided mid-way through the session. Class size is limited to 16 children. Cost: Juniors $205 for 8 weeks, Seniors $230 for 8 weeks. There is a substantial discount available for a limited number of Community Service Card holders each term, applied on a first in-first served basis.

Late enrolments may be accepted and will be charged on a pro rata basis on the number of weeks remaining.

• Seniors (aged 9-13yrs) is on Wednesday morning.  Starting at 10:00am, this session runs for 2 hours finishing at 12:00pm.

With the choice of a foundation class or an advanced class, we cater for children aged 8-13yrs, at any stage of their robotics journey. Occasionally we will open up sessions to younger children which will be clearly stated on the programme flyer.

• Home School Robotics/Technology – Tuesday morning starting at 10:00am, running for 2 hours until 12:00pm.  Please note – this class will be run if we have adequate enrolments.  If we do not have enough enrolments it may be combined with the After School Robotics class.
• After School Robotics – Tuesday and Thursday afternoons starting at 3:30pm, running for 2 hours until 5:30pm. Tuesday afternoon is the Foundation class for those starting out on their robotics journey, whilst Thursday is best suited to those who have already done a few terms of learning. Ask us which class would best suit your child if you are unsure.

STEAM-ED’s Educators take pride in planning and providing holiday programme activities which will engage and stimulate children aged 5-13yrs. Our aim is that students explore and question using S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) related fields.

Our Holiday Programmes are MSD accredited enabling eligible parents to access Work and Income OSCAR subsidies
